Beanermunky Chocolate was started in the Fall of 2005 by Lori Eisenberger, Chocolatier. Our first location was in the historic Hamilton Farmers’ Market, and in the fall of 2011 we moved to downtown Dundas. Our newest location is in downtown Waterdown which opened October of 2015. At both locations, our chocolates and confections are made onsite and you can watch our Chocolatiers at work through the large viewing windows. At our Waterdown location, we offer Chocolate Workshops and Events including Tasting and Pairing nights.

The name “Beanermunky” was created by combining the childhood nicknames of Lori’s two sons:
Jacob – “Beaner” and Mathew – “Munky”.

Beanermunky’s chocolates are handcrafted in small batches using the highest quality ingredients and flavourings. Our artisan chocolates contain no additives or preservatives and every step of the process is done by hand.We enrobe our chocolates in a high cocoa Belgian Milk Chocolate (34%) and a Belgian Dark Chocolate (70%). Our Belgian White Chocolate has a smooth buttery taste.

Beanermunky Chocolate only uses chocolate from suppliers that are members of the World Cocoa Foundation and also contributes to this organization annually. We are also a member of Retail Confectioners International as well as the Fine Chocolate Industry Association.

Let Beanermunky Chocolate create unique and memorable favours for your wedding, anniversary, shower, birthday, or dinner party!’

Beanermunky Chocolate contributes to the World Cocoa Foundation annually and uses cocoa products from producers that are member companies of the WCF. The World Cocoa Foundation supports cocoa farmers and their families worldwide. Their programs raise farmer incomes, encourages responsible, sustainable cocoa farming and strengthens communities.
