Beanermunky Chocolate was started in the Fall of 2005 by Lori Eisenberger, Chocolatier. Our first location was in the historic Hamilton Farmers’ Market, and in the fall of 2010 we moved to downtown Dundas. (This is now the only location that our chocolates and confections are available.)

The name “Beanermunky” was created by combining the nicknames of Lori’s two sons:
Jacob – “Beaner” and Mathew – “Munky”.

Beanermunky’s chocolates are handcrafted in small batches using the highest quality ingredients and flavourings. We enrobe our chocolates in a high cocoa Belgian Milk Chocolate (40%) and a Belgian Dark Chocolate (70%). We use only Pure White Chocolate which has a smooth buttery taste. Our artisan chocolates contain no additives or preservatives and every step of the process is done by hand. Beanermunky Chocolate is a proud supporter of the World Cocoa Foundation and a member of Retail Confectioners International.

By popular request, a small line of “No Sugar Added” Chocolates are available.

Beanermunky Chocolate contributes to the World Cocoa Foundation annually and uses cocoa products from producers that are member companies of the WCF. The World Cocoa Foundation supports cocoa farmers and their families worldwide. Their programs raise farmer incomes, encourages responsible, sustainable cocoa farming and strengthens communities.
